Temporary Relocation

Important Notice:

In order to best serve our guests during the COVID-19 pandemic, Christnet Services has collaborated with Wayne Metro Community Action Agency to provide a safe “shelter in place” twenty four hours a day.  We are thankful we can work together to continue our nighttime shelter season as long as possible.

Effective Monday, April 6, 2020 our nighttime guests will temporarily relocate to a stationary building obtained by Wayne Metro. Daytime operations at our Taylor location will be halted until restrictions are lifted and it is safe to reopen.

We regret that we cannot provide services inside the daytime center at this time. We will try to make food and hygiene items available for our current daytime only guests once daily from the daytime center parking lot. Distribution hours will be posted as soon as possible.

Some needs that we currently have include donations of bottled water and individually packaged snack items for our guests and those who need food from our daytime program.  We also need cleaning supplies, hand sanitizer, protective gloves, disinfecting wipes, face  masks, liquid hand soap, and no-touch thermometers.  Financial support is also greatly appreciated at this time.  Please call the main number (734) 287-8890 during the day to arrange for drop off.

Evening meals to serve up to 40 will be needed over the next several weeks.  The meals should be packaged for individual service (in take out type containers) so they can be safely distributed to our guests.

Christnet appreciates your support and prayers during this difficult time. Please send any questions to info@ChristnetServices.org or call (734) 287-8890.
